Chemka hot spring

Chemuka Hot Springs is an oasis-like natural spring spot located between Moshi and Arusha in Tanzania. The emerald blue water and lush green environment surrounded by palm trees are attractive, and the area is popular among locals and tourists alike as a "hidden gem in the desert.

The spring's water comes from deep underground, and although the name says “hot spring,” the water is actually moderately warm and comfortable, making bathing and playing in the water enjoyable throughout the year. The water is surprisingly clear, and snorkeling is a great way to interact with small fish.

Mt. Meru

Mount Meru rises quietly in the African wilderness. Located in the Arusha National Park in northern Tanzania, this 4,566-meter-high mountain is the second highest mountain in Tanzania and the fifth highest in Africa.

Mount Meru is also a popular prelude to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro for mountaineers, making it an ideal mountain for altitude acclimatization. However, its attractions do not stop there. The mountain trails are also a great place to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and other wild animals, making this a true “safari and mountaineering” experience.

There is only one climbing route, the Momela Route, which usually takes three nights and four days to reach the summit. Along the way, you can enjoy a rich variety of landscapes, including lush forests, lava walls, and dynamic views of walking along the rim of a crater. From the summit, you can see Mt. Kilimanjaro floating in a sea of clouds, a sight you will remember for the rest of your life.
